Driving Directions to Unicorn School

Please be aware that many GPS and internet map sites do not have accurate maps of Philo and should not be relied on for the last leg of the journey.

From Ukiah and Willits

1. Take US 101 south to the S. State St. Exit
2. Take State St. south to Hwy 253, ¼ mile
3. Turn Right onto Hwy 253, continue 17 miles to T junction with Hwy 128
4. Turn Right on Hwy 128 towards Boonville, continue 6 miles through Boonville
5. As you come up the hill into Philo, look for gas station on the left, turn onto Rays Rd. immediately past gas station.
6. Take Rays Rd to Unicorn School, ½ mile on right, turn at sign for Unicorn Youth Ranch.
7. Proceed down gravel drive, park in front of two red buildings (Unicorn School)

From Lake County and points east

1. Take Hwy 20 to US 101
2. Take US 101 southbound through Ukiah
3. Proceed as above

From Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, and points south

1. Take US 101 north to last Cloverdale exit, signs for Hwy 128
2. Exit and turn left under freeway
3. Proceed on surface road about 1 mile
4. Turn right onto Hwy 128
5. Proceed 32 miles through Yorkville and Boonville
6. As you come up the hill into Philo, look for gas station on the left, turn onto Rays Rd. immediately past gas station.
7. Take Rays Rd to Unicorn School, ½ mile on right, turn at sign for Unicorn Youth Ranch.
8. Proceed down gravel drive, park in front of two red buildings (Unicorn School)

From Mendocino, Fort Bragg and the coast

1. Take Hwy 1 to Hwy 128
2. Take Hwy 128 about 23 miles to Philo
3. Look for gas station on the right, turn onto Rays Rd. immediately before gas station.
4. Take Rays Rd to Unicorn School, ½ mile on right, turn at sign for Unicorn Youth Ranch.
5. Proceed down gravel drive, park in front of two red buildings (Unicorn School)
